Love how your sweater turned out! Where can I find this pattern and is this neck a variation you came up with or did the pattern tell you how to do it/
You had to cut the front?? (scary!)

Wonderfully explained and illustrated. Thanks so much. I think I've taken on a knitting project bigger than I can chew but I persevere. Your site has been a huge help!

very cute longies... another suggestion about the waist, if I may: you could flip the ribbed edge towards the inside of the garnment as a hem, close it off as a "tube" and thread a large elastic band through... that would ensure a "secure" closure (i've used these longies as soakers over cloth diapers, so "secure" is a must!) and would also shorten the waist a bit so that they could be worn sooner than later... just a thought... i tried the i-cord closure and while it makes for a cute look, i think it works better for outer wear, as opposed to the layer of clothes closer to the skin... it sagged a bit and if we thightened to much, it cinched... sagging and cinching weren't too cool on my boy... both caused problems! anyway, that's it for me! happy knitting!
